The BlackStone co is a Progressive Rock Metal band from the south of France created in early 2015 by Marc Bohren (guitar/vocals).

During the first years, the band draws its musical style influenced mainly by artists like Alter Bridge, Stone Sour, Black Label Society, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and 70’s music and releases a first album named “Betrayed” on January 25, 2019, composed of 10 efficient, powerful tracks with heavy and melodic riffs, mixed and mastered by Evan Simon (Hell Rules Heaven) and distributed by M&O Music/Season of Mist.

Now well versed in live performances, TBSC began to accumulate gigs all over the country sharing the bill with Y&T, Bukowsky, No One is Innocent, Sidilarsen, Bagdad Rodeo, Disconnected, Scarlean, Heart Attack, Flayed, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition, Prismeria – among others, a stint on the stage of the “Off du Hellfest” in 2019 and takes part in the organization of Destroying Da Stage shows.

In 2022, the band released “Old Grim Fairytales” – a 6-track acoustic EP entirely produced and distributed by the band, mixed in collaboration with Evan Simon. For this mini album, BlackStone called upon Fred Augugliaro to play the keyboards and piano parts giving a more progressive and atmospheric character to the songs.

The BlackStone co is currently working on the third album scheduled for 2023.
